Workplace Services Supervisor

We have an exciting new opportunity to join Restaurant Associates as our next 
Workplace Services Supervisor, this is a role where you will get to provide excellent service to internal clients and guests alike, carrying out all duties to the highest of standards, including but not limited to supporting Reception with their duties: booking guests into the office, arranging work space/desks for visitors, responding to emails and directing calls, ensuring all meeting rooms are clean and set up to the required standards, managing arriving clients and room bookings at the reception area and assisting in basic food and beverage provision where required including ordering food and beverage for the kitchen areas

Key Responsibilities: 
  • To complete the opening and closing checklists and to ensure that everything on them has been done
  • Assist with procedures and provide comprehensive handovers at the start and end of each shift
  • To ensure that the front of house areas are clean, tidy and attractive during opening times
  • To ensure reception desk is covered at all times, self covering where possible during periods of absence, or arranging in advance network or agency cover for longer periods of leave.
  • To place orders for stock to maintain the correct stock levels
  • To ensure that all deliveries are checked and put away promptly and correctly
  • To ensure waste is kept to a minimum during beverage production
  • To delegate where necessary and ensure the team are pro-active at all times
  • To complete food and beverage stock takes when required
  • Responsible for the completion of weekly bookwork and any other duties that are deemed necessary
  • Be pro-active at all times and use initiative, diplomacy and discretion to solve any problems that may arise
  • To ensure all food items in our control are stored, prepared and served to the standard set in line with our HSE requirements.
  • To ensure brand standard and mystery customer criteria are met at all times
  • To ensure you and the team are knowledgeable on all office, food and beverage products on offer
  • To take an active role in any unit promotions and make your own suggestions to help increase sales
  • To make sure that the team meet the legal and Company requirements for fire, safety, health and hygiene
  • Provide an excellent service, ensuring internal and external guests are acknowledged in a professional manner according to the defined procedure with a friendly smile and professional approach.
  • Ensure a clear overview of all Meeting rooms' status, including full details of occupancy levels, special requirements and requests
  • First line contact for clients/guests in wayfinding and directional guidelines on working floors 
  • Be prepared to be given cross training to enable support in other departments (Guest Service and Executive Service), to support the business and its clients in the best way possible 
  • Ensure that all maintenance issues are reported to service desk and logged on internal systems., ensuring all areas are maintained to the highest levels of presentation
  • Offer assistance relating to IT setups and hardware
  • Escort all guests where required
  • Offer wayfinding and directional services
  • Liaise with fellow contractors on the smooth running of all client and guest requirements to ensure a one team approach and 5-star services
  • Have a full understanding of the building layout to provide an outstanding guide to the details of Guest/Client requests
