We're currently recruiting a dedicated Team Leader - Relief to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Chartwells on a part time basis, contracted to 16.25 hours per week.

Your key responsibilities will include:
Great People
- Support Induction and training of new employees.
- Manage and be responsible for employees within the kitchen.
- Attend on and off site training sessions as required.
- Ensure training is put into practice in the kitchen.
- Attend Area Meetings as required held each term.
- Ensure a great working relationship within the school to provide an efficient service.
Great Service
- Maintain contractual standards of personal and kitchen hygiene, health and food safety.
- Operate to the standards required by the Statutory Health, Safety and Hygiene Regulations.
- Ensure the food service area is prepared in advance to the required standard.
- Maximize use of merchandise and counter displays.
- Ensure food is cooked to the correct standard and using the correct procedure.
- Ensure the Special Diet process is followed and Food Industry Regulations (FIR) are adhered to.
- Ensure portion control is monitored to the required standard.
- Responsible for standards of cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and equipment.
- Follow procedure to report any defects in the kitchen.
- Ensure the 3 Stream Waste process - Recycling, General and Food waste is followed.
- Ensure your customers have an enjoyable experience.
Our ideal Team Leader - Relief will:
- Complete a daily online audit using an app called Mpro5 on a Samsung tablet.
- Plan, operate and control all aspects of production and service of food.
- Operate an effective paperwork system, ensuring compliance is maintained.
- Promote Steamplicity.
- Comply with reasonable request made by the client and Chartwells.
