Key responsibilities: 
  • Support the General Manager with administrative tasks as required.
  • Support the HR Manager, ensuring all elements of the day to day HR administrative tasks are carried out.
  • Oversee the Client complaint handling system (Datix).
  • Carry out the daily banking tasks.
  • Assist with notetaking in all meetings as required.
  • Ensure documents and trackers, relating to ER casework, probation, PDR's, daily absences, short term absence and long term absence are maintained and kept up to date.
  • Oversee GoodShape absence management system and arrange absence meetings as required.
  • Support with recruitment and selection on site.
  • Support with the delivery of training/inductions where necessary.
  • Support to carry out quarterly personnel file audit.
  • Support with OurTime payroll system as required.
  • To carry out any other reasonable request which supports the Contract.
Knowledge and Skills Good understanding/evidence of Employee Relations case management (policy, process and procedures), would be an advantage, but not essential. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Able to build and develop effective working relationships across all levels Good analytical and decision-making skills Resilient under pressure with a firm but empathetic style Able to challenge and provide advice and guidance.
Education and Qualifications: HR Qualification qualification or working towards CIPD or Apprenticeship, would be an advantage, but not essential. PC Literate
Experience: Experience of working with a fast moving, people intensive operational environment. Experience of supporting the implementation of Company policy, process and procedures. Familiar with Health and Safety Regulations such as COSHH, CQC etc. Working knowledge of Compass Group people management policies(desirable). Experience of delivering mandatory training (desirable). Experience in Healthcare environment (desirable).
