Catering Manager - SheffieldUp to £31,787 per annum (DOE)Predominately Monday to Friday between 7am and 6:30pm - however the site is 24/7 and therefore, attendance on the weekend will be required occasionally. 
Please note a DBS is required for this role. 
  We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Catering Manager based at Sheffield Mail Centre in Sheffield. You will be providing outstanding service to the staff and customers whilst guiding and motivating your team to be the best they can possibly be.

Services provided are breakfast, lunch, night shift feeding, vending, hospitality and retail.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Understanding and delivering all contractual terms.
  • Communicating any onsite client changes to the line manager.
  • Regularly communicating with the client as agreed.
  • Completing action plans following client satisfaction surveys.
  • Delivering all client hospitality to the correct standard and upselling to increase revenue.
  • Correctly implementing all company promotions where applicable.
  • Ensuring all products are correctly priced.
  • Analysing and effectively managing all in-unit costs.
  • Monitoring and managing Gross Profit (GP).
  • Ensuring cost and sales records are accurately inputted and maintained.
  • Recording and minimising all food wastage.
  • Supporting, training, coaching, and developing the team.
  • Monitoring labour turnover and ensuring the team is fully recruited.
  • Implementing all relevant Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) procedures within the unit and reviewing them as appropriate.
  • Ensuring all food is prepared, cooked, and presented to the required standards and portion specifications.
  • Managing the processing of food orders, the receipt, and storage of deliveries. Maintaining the cleanliness of all kitchens and surrounding working areas.
  • Ensuring the correct use of all machinery and equipment.
  • Performing other general tasks to support effective food service delivery as reasonably requested.
About You:
  • Previous Catering management experience in a similar role, including client management.
  • Previous chef experience is desirable.
  • Passionate about working in a food service environment.
  • Great eye for detail.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work positively with others as part of a team.
  • Friendly, helpful, and polite.
  • Good mentoring skills.
